Amanda is a new competitor to the Island Fitness Pageant and started training in March 2008 for the pageant preliminaries and to improve her lifestyle. Although not one the original ten finalists, she is her to prove that fate is on her side and that the Ms. Powerade Island Fitness title is hers.
To her a good role model should have a positive attitude and therefore displays those qualities in everything she does. Amanda considers herself as her most prized possession, she is quoted in saying -"I love myself and the person I am, in order for me to extend that love I have to love myself first.'
