Safiya is a dancer and a self-motivated individual who started training to enhance her overall physical & mental well-being. She identifies that preparing for the pageant did pose some challenges especially "getting into the gym to really work out for more than 2 minutes", but this was nothing that could not be overcome with a little determination.
Safiya stands 5 feet, 4 inches tall and is 105 pounds. She is currently pursuing a Bachelors Degree in Management Studies at the University of the West Indies, cave hill campus, which she hopes to graduate with honors.
Life is her most prized possession and she thinks that a role model should poses passion, honesty and strength.
Safiya's family has been the pillar of encouragement during her preparations for the pageant and she believes that she has made a great improvement and is totally satisfied with her accomplishments thus far.
